What is StoreStudio?
StoreStudio is a platform that helps local vendors and small businesses create their own branded online storefront in minutes. Customers can browse your products and contact you directly via WhatsApp or phone. No coding or technical skills needed.
Do I need technical skills to create an online store?
Not at all. If you can use WhatsApp, you can use StoreStudio. Just sign up, add your product photos and prices, and your shop is live. The entire process takes about 2 minutes.
How do I create my online store?
Visit storestudio.in and click "Create Your Shop." Sign up with your phone number, enter your shop name, upload a logo, and start adding products. Your store will be live at storestudio.in/business/your-shop instantly.
What kind of businesses can use StoreStudio?
StoreStudio works for any business that sells products — bakeries, boutiques, fashion stores, electronics shops, spice shops, handicrafts, food delivery, jewelry, and more. If you have products to showcase, StoreStudio is for you.
Pricing & Payments
How much does StoreStudio cost?
StoreStudio starts at ₹0 with a 1-month free trial. After that, choose Monthly (₹199/month) or Yearly (₹1,999/year — save ₹389). 10x cheaper than Shopify.
Is the free trial really free?
Yes, 100% free for 1 month. No credit card required, no hidden charges. If you don't subscribe after the trial, your shop simply goes offline — your data is never deleted.
How do customers pay me?
Customers contact you directly via WhatsApp or phone. You handle payments your way — UPI, Google Pay, cash, bank transfer. StoreStudio does not process customer payments — there's no middleman taking a cut.
Are there any transaction fees?
StoreStudio charges 0% transaction fees on your sales. You only pay the subscription fee. Payment gateway fees (Razorpay) apply only for your subscription payment.
What payment methods do you accept for subscriptions?
We accept UPI, debit cards, credit cards, net banking, and wallets via Razorpay — India's most trusted payment gateway.
Features & Store
Can I get my own website link?
Yes! Your shop gets a permanent link like storestudio.in/business/your-shop-name that you can share anywhere — WhatsApp status, Instagram bio, visiting cards, posters.
Is there a limit on products?
The base plan includes generous product listings. Need more? You can add extra product slots starting at just ₹50/year for 10 more products.
Can I customize my store's appearance?
Yes! You can set your shop's theme color, upload a custom logo and banner, add your description, and organize products into categories. Your store will look professional and branded.
Does StoreStudio support WhatsApp integration?
Yes, WhatsApp integration is built-in. Customers can click the WhatsApp button on your store to directly message you about a product. No setup needed — just add your WhatsApp number.
Can customers search and filter products?
Yes! Your store has built-in search and category filtering. Customers can easily find what they're looking for without scrolling through everything.
Account & Data
What happens when my subscription expires?
Your shop goes offline but all your data (products, images, settings) is preserved. You can resubscribe anytime to restore everything exactly as it was.
Can I delete my account?
Yes, you can request account deletion by contacting us. All your data including products, images, and personal information will be permanently deleted within 30 days.
Is my data safe?
Yes. We use encrypted databases (MongoDB Atlas), secure cloud storage (AWS S3), and HTTPS encryption. Passwords are hashed with bcrypt — we can never read your password. We never sell your data.
Can I switch between plans?
Yes! You can switch from Monthly to Yearly anytime. The Yearly plan saves you ₹389 compared to paying monthly.
